How do I create a brief?
Tap New feed, add a topic (and optionally RSS or website sources or YouTube channels), choose a schedule, length, and voice, then generate your first brief. New briefs then arrive automatically on the schedule you set.
Why is my brief late or still generating?
Briefs are produced in the background. Scheduled morning briefs are delivered in batches, so the first ones arrive around your chosen time and the rest follow within a few minutes. If a brief shows an error, tap Try again.
How do I change the voice, schedule, or length?
Open the feed and use its settings to change the voice, delivery time, format, and depth. Some settings lock once a feed has generated its first episode.
How do I manage notifications?
Turn push notifications on or off from the Account screen. You can also control them in your device settings under Notifications → Briefcaster.
How do I report a brief?
Open the brief and tap Report this brief. We review reports and can hide or remove content that breaks our rules.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Account → Delete account and confirm. This permanently deletes your account, feeds, sources, and generated briefs. To request a copy of your data instead, email us.
What does it cost?
Briefcaster is free to use with a monthly allowance of briefs. There are no paid subscriptions; an optional, opt-in ad may let you unlock an extra brief when you reach your limit.
